Vehicle mounted awning without​ legs?

So as the title asks, is there a vehicle mounted awning that has an option for legs but that can be opened without having to deploy legs?
Low wind days or just for a quick shady spot...

Slickest setup for a single awning seems to be the Hannibal, but they are scarce as hen's teeth in North America. I could not find a Hannibal, so I got an EZ-Awn Bat 270 that covers one side of the truck plus the tailgate area. Comes in both left-side and right-side versions. Cost was about the same as a Hannibal would have been and it provides more coverage. Been on the truck for about three years and is easy to deploy and store, holding up well, and I don't always have to drop the legs for a quick stop, or even for an extended stop on calm days. There is also a larger version of that awning.

Here is my short list of free standing awnings, I am in the same boat as you and I don't have one, but want the speed and ease of no legs (if conditions permit)

I bought the Eezi-Awn Bat 270 to replace my Campinglab awning, but have not installed it yet.
I like that it can be free standing, and also a lot easier to setup than the other types.

For ease of use, coverage and materials the Alu-Cab Shadow Awn is tough to beat. Plus aluminized fabric reflects heat and the rear tailgate coverage spans 90* from the vehicle! :Wow1:

it's not the prettiest but it's cheap
I have a 12ft (avail in 8ft) house awning on my VW vanagon
mounted to ladder racks that has no legs, handles some wind just fine. but I don't leave it unattended
then again it's freakin easy to roll it out/back in. or just crank it out for a few feet as a rain cover on the door.
Gangly but quite effective. and I've taken it all over the country for years..

was about $225 incl the cost of the ladder racks
mine was from a chain called Christmas Tree shops in the lawn/garden/home section one summer..
but they are available via other outlets. no name/brand on this one.. and it's held up to about as much abuse as I can throw at it..

here it is deployed in a hot parking lot while we awaited others on our FL trip

and stowed.

Whaat! All this material and $$$ for about 1 foot and 1/2 on the side and 2 feet in the back!! Not sure it is efficient.
