Ventilation when not in use

So I haven't used our camper in the past few weeks and have left the side crank out windows open and the front slider open as well. Water can't get in since the windows are sloped down and the front one is covered by the overhead. I was thinking it would be a good idea to keep it from getting so hot in there and to keep the camper 'breathing'. What do ya'll do when your camper is not in use? Open, close, de-humidifier, ... ?? I'm in the south where it's stupid humid so I don't want to ruin my new investment. Trips should be between 4 weeks apart through the summer and probably ever 2 weeks through the fall and spring.

Wouldn't help with the humidity, but what about a solar-powered vent fan? One on the roof might be subject to rain, but maybe you could get creative. I'm reminded of advertisements for automotive solar vent fans that mount on the side window:

'Course, shading the camper would be a big help, if you're not already.
