Vintage Camper Trailer Build

It seems really well designed for how old it is. What year was yours?

The shop I work at is really cool about using it on the weekends, as long as I leave it cleaner than I found it and not do anything stupid. :D

Well, that would rule me out! :jump:

Bethany Trailers

I had a old teepee trailer but could not save it becuase it had sat to long. Some info. Bethany trailerws were made in minnesota by a group of engneers who put the plant in a the twin cities as a job training program. They were well made and built to last. There is a Yahoo group dedicated to the trailers.

Finally finished my build by borrowing some of Dirtco's idea's, since we started with the same model of camper.......1964 Bethany Chief.

I'm bringing this thread back from a deep sleep. I was searching on some ideas and came across this, great info I will be using very soon.

Still going strong

We've had a lot of good times in the 1964 camper since the update. I've had to patch a few tears in the canvas but other than that it's still solid as a rock!

I found a window unit that fits perfectly in the existing door. It's not attached so you can just set it aside if not needed. Works great if electricity is available.
