Warn 8274 - Rated for Synthetic?

Is the Warn 8274 rated for synthetic? It's not a big deal to me either way, but if synthetic is copacetic, then I might go that route. Another thread brought up this question in relation to another winch, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask..

The brake on the 8274 in external to the winch drum, therefor it doesn't have the heat issues that can damage the synthetic. So yes it is one of the better winches to use with synthetic. :victory:

I have my 8274 loaded with 3/8" synthetic line and it works great.

Should be perfect for it. Synthetic is (usually) rated higher than the same diameter wire rope.
