Water storage

Hi. What sort of water system/storage solutions have you guys found?

My rooftop tent (Magg's) takes most of the space on the top of the Toyota Landcruiser. I would have liked to install a jerrycan (what type of holder?) for our washing water there (heating naturally) and another jerrycan for drinking water somewhere inside the car - or simply buying bottles on the way.

Somehow I am not sure this sytem would work, or indeed how it would, so I'd be grateful for some advice or sharing experiences.

We are in the process of trying to figure out how everything will fit and work out! Cheers in advance.

What make/model Land Cruiser? There are pre-formed water bladders that fit above your wheel wells, however they are not super available here in North America.

Hi Kurt.
We have a Landcruiser Colorado 97, temporarily imported from the UK.
Would be fab if you're right and not too expensive hopefully!

Ive got 6 of the MSR 10liter Dromedarys.

The nice part is that you can throw them in a footwell, under front seats, anywhere with space.

they come with shower attachments
they are black so heat up when left in the sun
durable-no leaks.

downsides- pricey
