Installed ARB diff cover on the front and Nitro aluminum cover on the rear. Replaced the stock air filter. The LJ is almost ready for Moab!

Thanks, Oscar.
Nowhere near the intense build you have but it meets my softcore needs now.

Bumper and winch eventually. Then I'll try to figure out whether I really want to go to 4.56 or not. I'd really like deeper gears but I also like my lifetime warranty...

What do you have in it now Hilldweller gear wise? I had 321s and switched to 456's and it is night and day difference. 3 inch lift and 35's on the Jeep with Heavy rear bumper and all. Mine is a manual and it makes it so much more enjoyable. Only issue if I even would call it that is 1st gear is short. But I can start in 2nd if I want to so who cares. I did live however with 321's in my Jeep for 2 1/2 years before I did the regearing.

I have 3.73s ---- fine for a manual and 33s for day to day.
But when I trailer, I miss the 4.56s that my Power Wagon and previous JK had.

Inner debate continues...

Re-did the intake gaskets on the ZJ on Saturday. Hopefully I got it all to seal properly this time, but we'll know for sure once I've got a few more miles on it and can see if it's still drinking oil.

I finally went to 4.56 over 3.73's...day and night difference,d especially pulling the trailer.

What year do you have? Which trans? What size tires?
....and after all that, what was the impact on fuel economy?

With 33s, I think that 4.10s would work the best for me overall. But it seems such a waste to regear to only a 4.10...
4.56s would be wonderful around town and on the trail. But with the Pentastar and only 33s, it's a bit more gear than I really need ----- except on hills with the trailer behind me.

Decisions decisions decisions...

Seems like I'm not the only one trying to make a decision.
Running a 2013 JKU auto 3 inch lift with 33s and 3.21.
Feels OK with or without the kayak trailer but thinking 35s.
Decisions decisions !!
