What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Bubblegoose1, what's that rack in the back - Aluminum? Inside curved corners? DIY or mfg?

It is a commercial kitchen aluminum rail shelf I found online. Multiple sizes offered. Only $60 shipped, and light weight. It is also rated for 800 lbs.

The curved corners are for fitting the shelf into uprights; doesn't cause any issue with using it as a rack instead. It does come with the mounts for the corners though.

unfamiliar road, no shoulder, just a bit too far hugging the edge. have a good friend and his body shop repairing it.

btw bubblegoose SICK JK!!

I've done the slide into a soft shoulder as well. Looked pretty solid, then nope it wasn't. :( Hope the repairs go well.

Thanks for the compliment on my rig.

I threw 2" spacers and new coil springs on the front, stock shocks, need to be replaced, they are the stock ones from 99 with 330k miles on them, pushed them up and took about 3 minutes for them to fully extend on their own. the rear got longer u-bolts and 1" lift blocks, the kit was free from my uncle, he didn't have it long on his 00 XJ cause he ended up getting death wobble from it. the rig rides 100x better now with just what was done. makes me wonder what an XJ drives like with new suspension...

pics will come later, finished in the dark, will post them in the Project Brooke build thread.

also went elk hunting for a week, have 1 or 2 pix from that. and started restoring a ruger 10-22 that I keep in the jeep so I may throw up pics of that too...

It should tow my M416 w/RTT nicely!

Slight loss of room over the XJ, but the trailer holds plenty of gear!
