Still need to adjust the stabilizing bumpers on the tire carrier a bit.

Been working on the TJ for a while. Installed a set of Bilstein 7100 shocks w/reservoirs, relocated the rear coil buckets, made a new front license plate holder, removed the roller fairlead and wire rope, and installed some Master Pull XD Superline and hawse fairlead. installed a Corbeau BajaRS driver seat, skid plated the LCA axle brackets.

License plate before: (before this, it was under the bumper, and snagging on everything off road)

Thanks.

My other hobby (which has been seriously neglected for the past several years) is building scale models. Mostly modern U.S. armor (HMMWVs, Abrams, etc.) and SciFi with the occasional car or plane thrown in.

Thats what I was thinking but didn't want to guess in case you were some kind of fashion person.Lol! I understand how it gets neglected. I grew up doing the same. Still drag my stuff around to duty stations but haven't built squat in years. Also same as you... military mostly, some jeeps as well. Its a little funny to me. I enjoy history and the military and built mostly in 1/35th WWII European theatre. Now I'm stationed in Germany and haven't built anything. Lots of ideas and easy access to reference, just no time. :(

I enjoy researching and planning the most. Therapy is scraping seams and filing (especially individual track links). LOL Painting and weathering are where it all comes together though. Should start a thread like the Lego one to see if there are any other builders on here.

LOL I know Jeff from another Model Forum.

I've always preferred Sheppard Paine to Verlinden, probably just due to style.
