What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

I thought about what it would be like to drive mine again....lol

Also, I bought a Novak transfer case shifter and GenRight hood louvers for the heat soak. Oh, and 4 red LEDs to make a third brake light and it got smoged.

Drove it into the driveway after 9000km on the road/dirt. Some of the worst corrugations I'd driven at some point but man it's been a great month :) Cant wait for the next expo trip.

Cheers
Steve

I went to Taylors Auto Salvage (pick your own).
I got a deal on a few nice parts for $12.

Got the diagnosis that my left rear squealing isn't the brakes, it's the axle. And oh yes, not only is the left side axle bent, so is the right!!!

Replaced the Crankshaft position sensor. Well, not really. Paid a guy $40 to replace it after picking it up off of fleabay. After reading post after post on many sites about how many hours guys worked on the two bolts that hold this sensor in place; I figured it was well worth my $40.

priced out stuff on rock auto, was unaware you can buy factory rims from them. not that badly priced either, cheaper than other sites I have seen. that means I can get ahold of two Icon's to replace my spare and one that is chewed up from curb rash (not from my days of driving it) and later on if I wanna switch it up I can buy LJ Moab's and Ravines

btw, all three rims listed (Icon, Ravine, Moab) are the sexiest factory rims out there ;)

Picking my baby up from the shop this afternoon after having some "final" suspension adjustments made to correct driveline vibrations & also replacing a couple of stripped bolts holding the Tummy-Tucker Skid Plates to the tranny! Looking forward to getting dirty again really soon!

Yes, we had the bearings and tone gear pressed on at the shop that we bought the gears from. Fast and easy as long as you don't mix up right and left sides.
