I think I need a bigger truck!
Got word that my trailer lid is skinned and ready for a final test fit before epoxy and finishing. Pics tomorrow.

What I did today. Last trial fit before the last of the skin, glass and epoxy resin and primer/paint goes on. Of course, a perfect fit. Love the overhang on the sides, this thing will seal really well. I am REALLY stoked that it should be done this week or next. Mike is a craftsman, and this is going to be an exceptional lid for many years to come.

I also agreed to hand over all my cash (saved for this) to Mike (Trekken Offroad) for a Mt Hood CVT today as well... I guess I am committed to this project now!! First time I saw one open today, very impressed with the quality and construction. Attention to detail is excellent, very stoked on this combo. I am very impressed with CVT... should last a long time.

Picture this on there...nice.

I built the whole upper frame of my first production trailer, set up the water heater framing, the elctrical system framing, the counter top and sink and stove area. Changed it from the original as the water heater and elecrical will now be behind a wall from the kitchen. Added drop in rails to the original frame so the side panels will drop into 3/4 inch angle iron with PL 4000 to seal the chance of water ever getting into the lower side, put on the fenders, fit the plywood floor pieces, still need to pick up a sheet of plywood 3.4 tongue and grove in the morning. Have finished all welding that I can, as I ran out of 1x2 steel for the roll cage setup. Hope to have all the welding done by Tuesday nite and off to the Rhino man on Wednesday morning. Ordered, or at least emailed the order to Eclipse, for delivery next Friday.

Do not have the talent to put pictures up so actually nothing happened and I lied, not really but no pictures no workie.

I've got 4 days off and planned to spend at least a couple working on my offroad teardrop. Went out to start cutting some tubing to make the shock mounts and the blade in my water cooled band saw popped. I recently moved and thought I had another blade but I tore the shop apart and I can't find it.

Ever tried to find a 90"x.75" metal cutting band saw blade on Sunday? I finally found one about 45 minutes away. I normally pay around $26 a blade. This one cost me $45. Ouch.

Well back to cutting a bunch of roof braces and trying to finish the framing. Hopefully I can take some pix tomorrow night and post them up in my build thread.

Finished drilling the rest of the holes in the frame today, now it's on to disassembly & wire brushing.

Then on to the tongue section :victory:
