What Half-Ton Truck & Why

I can't seem to find a 2015-2018 rebel that does not have the air suspension

I just want coils, not air!

Most 2019s I have found only have the coils, but are out of my price range

Are the air suspension rebel trucks reliable? Just seems like a complex system.

Avoid the air. There's an entire Facebook page dedicated to the air suspension failures. Especially in cold climates.

I think that's going to be my plan

Find a used, nicely equipped Ram 1500
, Hemi, with 3.92s

Lift it 2" and find some Rebel 17"/18" take offs and run 33s (285s)

Are the coils on the Rebel package specific?

I just looked at my rental.....i thought they all had 33" tires......nope

This one has 275/70/17.......they look great and the ride is excellent

Take a look at new ones. This one for $30k isn't bad at all. New body, better safety rating. You may be able to find one with a locker as well. This is a quad cab, not crew cab.

I agree with all of the above. Shop around and you can surely find one that will fit the bill for you. Not sure how things are in Michigan, but used low mileage Rams are a dime a dozen out here. If you think a stock truck rides nice just wait until you add in a quality suspension.

The quad cab won't work, I have this cab now in my rental and it's too small

I need a crew cab and I love the 2019 new body type

Drove a ton of trucks this week

Some were junk, most were under optioned, and most were over priced

I ended up in a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ / Z71 4x4, with the 5.3L......Midnight Edition as well

Brand new tires, sunroof, power sliding rear window, spray in bedliner. Loaded
