People who uses multiple brands are indecisive, and sometimes ornery. They have a general distaste for colour and are apt to raise their own chickens. These people are naturally disposed toward careers in art or teaching and can be found in their spare time sitting in a rocking chair, smoking a pipe listening to old Robert Johnson records.:elkgrin:

You constantly argue about how your company makes amazingly innovative and high quality lenses and cameras that are better than the other companies', even though you do not own them and likely never will.

Nikon Owner: But Nikon has the 14-24mm f/2.8 NANOCOATED ultrawide zoom lens that offers unparalleled sharpness!

You miss the analog quality of shooting film too?? I have to say the sound and feel of the new to me F4s is very nice. I've never had the pleasure of shooting a Leica rangefinder but I do plan to do so someday.

I've still got the Canon F-1 I carried for 25 years - it was my dream camera back in the day when the AE-1 was brand new (I had one of those too along with a bunch of other Canons). I started out with one of my Dad's Minoltas and decided to move up when I was chased off a photographers stand at Daytona in the mid-70's because my camera didn't look "professional" enough. I bought the first black body AE-1 to hit Atlanta a few weeks later.

Since then I've shot a lot of different stuff - Rollei 35S, Speed Graphic, Rolleiflex 2.8, and Hasselblad but I still like my Canons. A few years ago when I had to switch to bi-focals I decided that autofocus may not be such a bad thing and sold off a bunch of my manual focus Canon FD gear to buy a 20D and a 24-70 L zoom. I've moved up to a 1DsMKII and love the full frame, solid feeling camera that I was so used to with my old Canon F-1.

I guess I'll always be a Canon shooter.....and I still have that old F-1 loaded with Tri-X readily at hand.
