Good Day ExPo
If ExPo & OJ had a statement like this " We are a Pro Access board and feature access issues as soon as we find them." that I have on another forum that greats new visitors this all could of been avoided. Source Just Good Trails.
Yours should state that we passionately support & promote Wilderness, The Wildlands Project/Network & vehicular based Overland Travel.
Even with my growing up in the back of a Jeep CJ-6 doing ExPo travel starting at the age of 3 (1967) that is foreign & concerning ideology to people like myself.
It became evident with my "New President Now What" thread that the Conservation section here on ExPo is unlike any other of the OHV forums I have visited.
I do wish there were more posts promoting & reporting on actual projects like Cleanups, Site Stewardships, Leave No Trace/Tread Lightly training, Trail Work & Ride A-Longs ect. These are things I'm passionate about & have forged great relationships not only with other types of users of our public lands but also with those at the agencies that manage them.
One example of a benefit of being involved & out there with them is I was able to call (personal Cell ph) to warn my local BLM recreation planner of a major problem at a local trail that needed to be addressed on a Sunday afternoon.
I feel my presence & postings ExPo appear to cause more harm than good. So I hope you follow the amazing example & leadership of your fellow ExPo member 1LegLance. While Lance & I may not agree on Wilderness I highly respect the work he is doing in conservation & access for disabled users like myself.
I was going to address questions & statements made my some of the Core group but feel it is pointless when I see stats, PR, & ideology from groups like the Wilderness Network & faux Multi Access group like Recreational Trails Alliance.
Hey Jeff/agavelvr in regards to your hate mail, most who are passionate about LandUse experience it no matter were your stance is. When my gets really bad I watch this chuckle and go on with life. EDIT "This is not directed at anyone! the last email her reads makes me laugh no matter how bad things get."

Don't worry its safe to open & while I doubt we could ever find any common ground I still encourage you & others to do projects like Lance & I do.
In the years ahead our agencies like the BLM will have a even higher burden with millions more acres of wilderness. People like myself will no longer be able to be stewards & our lands/agencies need all the help they can get.
