Currently have a 2004 tundra access cab. Stock rims. Mild lift. 1-2 inch
Don't really need a taller tire than what stock size is 265/70R16

The two problems I'm facing is weight of each tire and price
I can get a slightly taller tire for less $$ but weight of each tire will affect mpg
Not looking to do any rock crawling but like to handle off road and goal is do some distance driving on highway. Lots of national parks i like to visit and camp out of vehicle.
I like to stick with BFG AT. Love these tires.

Stock size tire
265/70R16 D load rate
$225 each
49 lbs 30.7" tall

265/75R16 E load rate
$190 each
54 lbs 31.7" tall

Heavier and taller tire for less $$ or would stock size be better for mostly highway driving.
Do they not make a D load for the taller tire and maybe bring the weight down a little.

Bfg stopped making the 265 75 16 load d all terrain I think... I ran a set on my Tacoma and have a set on my tundra now. If you really wanted the AT tread and sidewall in d you could always try a treadwright warden and specify that you want bfg casings... If you go that route I'd recommend doing some research and forming your own opinion there's lots of stuff out there on that topic

245/75/16 is the same size as the stock 265/70/16, so if you don't need anything bigger than stock, I would get those. Should be cheaper than either 265/70 and 265/75. They're typically only LR E, but rode fine in my old Tacoma.
