Well.
From what i can see. They hit my fender, core support and tire. That snapped the locating pin thats in the leaf spring and the axle slid back 3-4 inches on the leaf and into my wheelwell. My steering was snapped. The van was also pushed back 8 to 10ft and onto the curb 2ft

I dunno how insurance will handle this. The guys insured but there isnt a 4x4 van option on kbb to compare value. And im hoping its not a total. I have all recipts feom my parts unless there from craigslist.

I sent it to a body shop last night since it was in a neighbors driveway and up on the curb. But i feel i should of had it dragged into the street till i could get it to the shop i work at.

I don't know about the laws in your state. Here they would come up with a value for your van, then add for options. Your 4wd parts- its a good thing you kept the receipts! You probably won't get full value but a good bit I would think.
Then they add up the damage. If the damage exceeds 70% of the total value the van is declared a total loss. If not they repair it, no questions asked.
If its a total you have a choice. Take the money they offer, or keep the van for that total value minus the salvage value. Then you can use the money to make the repairs yourself. Downside is your title is marked as a salvage vehicle.

I went through this with my ranger about 18 months ago. The damage was worse than yours though. The tailgate was about even with the rear wheels! That's when I bought my xterra... it worked out OK. I still miss my ranger though.
Good luck.

Bummer.
Receipts are the biggest thing. After talking with my insurance provider this week, they couldn't list it as a 4x4. But said to just make sure I had lots of pictures and receipts.

Good luck.

That completely sucks to hear and see, let alone wake up to! Did you mean Tundra as in Toyota Tundra? If that implies you know what hit the van, is there the possibility of sticking the driver (or his insurance) with the bill?

Ya. The guy stop. A police report was filed. His insurance will pay for it if they dont total it
