Who Is Using What For Floorliners?

I did a quick search and didn't really find anything (kind of a surprise, there is usually a thread for everything!). While cleaning out the inside of my 2004 Tacoma Doublecab I realized it is time to retire the factory floor mats. they have had it.

I am considering a set of the floorliners that are available and I was wondering if anyone had any input on a specific brand. I think I found about 5 different brands; McNiel/Weathertech, Husky, Nifty, etc.

It would even be more helpful if you know where to get a good deal on them too!

I have Husky Liners in my 07 double cab Taco front & back. I love them. Between the leather seats and the husky liners...cleaning my interior is a breeze.

As far as where to buy...can't help you there. The previous owner of my truck put them in.

I buy carpet mats from Home Depot or Costco, cut them to fit and replace them when they get so dirty that a pressure wash doesn't help. Yes, they creep up under the gas pedal but a tug before I drive away eliminates the problem.

I've always heard both Husky and Weathertech are great. I've had Weathertechs since my truck was new, 100k/6yrs ago. They are still perfect. No wear, totally kept their shape.

I have the Weathertechs up front in my 4Runner. No complaints other than the passenger one slides around a little. They seem to be wearing well and beat the Toyota all weather ones they replaced after I wore a hole in the driver one with my heel.

The Costco mats are very rugged for the price ~$15-18. Otherwise I loved my huskies too.

I JUST (literally, today) got a set of WeatherTechs for the front and rear of my new-used Double Cab..... Very impressed! they fit like a glove!

I have some deep rubber mats in my Subaru, but they didn't contour the way the weathertechs do....I do a lot of trail running so my feet get muddy all the time ....these mats should do an excellent job holding it all

Bought them from TRDparts4u

Thanks lx450. I think you helped me with my decision. I found the Huskys at 4 Wheel Parts for $65 shipped but I can get the Weathertechs from Summit Racing for $118 shipped. I think I will go with the Weathertechs though.

I used to do auto interiors and I appreciate a good fit over saving a few bucks. Especially on something inside since it is the part of the vehicle you see the most. That thought kept me from buying a Dodge Magnum a few years back. Loved the looks but hated the inside. But they are a sinister-looking ride.

Love the weather tech I have. The previous owner of my 4runner put floor mats and seat covers on it before he left the factory lot, or so he told me. If it wasn't before he ever drove it, it was shortly there after. He put a weather tech in the cargo area and huskies everywhere else. 10 years later the weather tech is holding up great and I'm looking to replace the tired huskies.

Weather tech are a no go for d-cab's since we have vents tubing that runs along the sides of the tunnel. They only make them for ex. and reg. cabs. Husky and Nifty Products are the only two that i have found that fit are floor.

Thanks EXP-100. You probably just saved me some grief. I think I will be going with the Husky Liner now. I like their texturing more.

You'll be happy with the Huskys. We've had them in every one of our rigs since they came out. So far that's 2 Jeep ZJs, a MJ, a TJ, a LJ, 2 Dodge Rams and a Tundra. We have a set of Weathertechs in the wife's car and they're nice also but don't hold as much muck and slush as the Huskys do. They are also a bit more flexible than the Huskys and are easier to accidentally spill when maneuvering them out of the vehicle to dump the winter crud out. Though the Weathertechs keep their finish appearance longer, but who's checking out your floor-mats appearance anyhow?
