Speaking of Tortoises, we met this guy while a group of us were riding the Dual Sport Utah 500 through Canyonlands National Park

Adam, I bet you had shorts filled with Mud after that encounter!!!

I was good, my whole body tightened up pretty quick when I saw it standing there, not even a molecule of air could have escaped my body at that point! lol

I remember coming to a stop and getting off my bike to look where it tramped off to. I looked on the trail and saw it's hoof prints almost 2 bike lengths back! I think hitting a moose while I was on my bike would have felt like hitting a brick wall!

Ran into this wild thing in the middle of nowhere. Nobody around it. No foot prints...nothing.

However there was cold beer in the cooler.

In the Pecos Wilderness NM on the way back from Expo10, a herd of about 50 crossed the road.
We saw them all grazing together in a valley later about a 1/4 mile from our camp.

I think they were heading for the Mall but not sure
