Not great pics, but kind of cool.

First time we ever found a snapping turtle at the cabin!

And he is huge-a-mungous!! I mean really, really big!!

Almost bigger than my root beer cap!! :snorkel:

Kids found him by the bridge, so we got him some water, and walked back down to the bridge, and put him back where they found him.

He settled in, then buried himself in the mud.

Must have been the weekend for BIG creatures! Found this guy stuck on our walkway (rubber conveyor belt) he couldn't gain any traction, so after his photo shoot, we helped him into the grass.

Back home (camera at full zoom, just to see him!)

Also saw some Grouse, and a few deer, but no pics of those. Great weekend at the cabin!

Scary encounters of the gargantuan kind. :Wow1: Very cool, nice to see the little guy slip back into his environment.

I was doing some shooting this weekend for friend racing karts. To get a better angle on the track I walked way around to the back of the track to a set of bleachers where no one was. Between races it was quiet and this guy wondered in out of the desert. He didn't see me in the stands until he was right on top of me. After this shot he freaked and ran off into the night. :sombrero:

Nice shots. That's a beefy looking Elk. :Wow1: It's always nice to see bears in the wild too, as long as they are at a good tele distance away. Thanks for sharing your captures.

Some shots of Bighorn Sheep near Lake Mojave a few weeks ago. We drove down into a canyon to camp out on our way to Vegas. We saw this herd on they way out the next morning. We aso saw a couple more females a few miles up the canyon. Such a good area for sheep.
