I am using a EFS 55-250mm with a Kenko polarized lens until I can afford something better. Planning on a 100-400mm Canon L series.

I have a friend with the 100-400mm; seems to be a great little lens.

All I have is an old Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8

went snowshoeing today with my fiance', as we were heading into the woods a bald eagle took off from its perch in maple tree. It had a hard time flying through the thick trees at the edge of the field so it landed in the snow, gained composure and took off again. Made a really cool 'snow angel' impression in the snow.
