This was in my backyard when I lived about 25 miles west of houston. We had a hammock back there to watch the gators, beavers, racoons, snakes, and too many species of birds to list. I sure miss that hammock.
Just back from two months in the NWT, including a 4+ week paddling trip in the SE Arm of Great Slave Lake (Ft. Resolution to Lutsel K'e and back). We saw a considerable numbers of Muskox, including both lone bulls and maternal mixed herds with several nursing newly born. Shot with a waterproof Olympus, point and shoot. (Not "Delsh's" amazing quality due to bobbing around but you have give up something to have a floating camera!! (thanks to it's mini-PFD or I guess CFD.......))
Big snake of unknown species tangled in tree branches waiting for the unwary bird, about 6’ up (my head height), right along swamp trail in Louisiana north of Lake Ponchartrain LA
