My 4Runner will be for sale next week. I am currently having the rear axle seals, wheels bearings, cylinders, and shoes replaced will all Toyota parts. Timing belt, water pump, etc. were replaced in August, again, all Toyota. Also replaced BOTH heads (with brand new units) in August due to a crack in cylinder 5. Aside from the heads, again, everything used was Toyota. I purchased the heads from a shop in Florida which came highly recommended by Toyworx down outside of Pismo. Coming up on 200k miles, and ready for at least another 200k. I am just looking to get into something a bit bigger, and a bit newer. It needs absolutely NOTHING. Everything works as it should. Every bulb, every switch, every button. If I needed to I would drive it to Florida this afternoon without any worry at all.
It's in very, very good condition. I've had it professionally detailed (inside, out, and engine) at least twice a year since I bought it in late 2010. I'll have it detailed again prior to selling.
If you're interested we can talk price.

Since this picture the battery was replaced with an X2 Power AGM unit
And since you said adventure ready... Here is a picture from the 3000+ mile trip I took the week after replacing the heads. We went out to Montana then down to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Hundreds (maybe thousands) of pictures from past trips on my Flickr account
