The Sonoran Steel Fabrication (SSF) Extreme Duty Lower Links showed up today :) and will likely be installed tomorrow. While perhaps overkill for my type of wheeling and travel, I don't have my co-pilot spotter with me so a little insurance goes a long way, in the event I land on something a little harder than anticipated.

Good buy...I have punished mine and they have been bullet-proof.

They look bullet proof or IED proof anyway, and if all that is left is a lower link when the zombies attack you can beat your way through them!

Diggin your rig. Some great mods goin on. Nice job!

I can't quite figure out what tire size you're currently running...?--is it the 295s? if so, do you get much rubbage? and I see no mention of a body lift, but wanted to ask if you've got one at all....?

Yes 295 Nitto's and a 1" body lift. I find body lifts to be like ugly sisters you have them but don't show em off. There is some rubbing but far less with the BL. Every place it may rub is smooth. I love these tires with 4.88's and will
buy them again. I'm also looking at 315 KM2 as my offroad set to go on the
80 wheels I picked up from ih8mud.

This should go in shortly, estimated time 1-3 weeks. My 4Runner motor has 238K and is doing fine, but a small oil leak and weeping have started soooo better safe than sorry.

I'm liking the valve covers:) Is the motor stock or did you doing anything fun to it? Is it also getting a go fast mod in the middle there:smiley_drive:

Yea I'm not a blingy kind of guy but I like Blue and BlueyFab must have known. It is essentially a new motor build to withstand the rigors of forced induction, if I so choose. BlueyFab has done an amazing job on everything we have needed from them. Good work is much appreciated especially when it comes with a professional attitude.

No my friend I had a TRD SC, but.... I sold it! I bought it for $800 and turned it for $1750 shipped to Oz. Soo no one can blame me for that. I might venture to another in the future, had considered cams, or a bore of .20 over but decided to keep her NA for the time being as they as most reliable in that form. The 4Runner is no rocket ship but she moves just fine with the 4.88's.
