Did you recently buy the Apache on ebay?

That towhook appears to be either the Mopar bracket kit or aftermarket. But i have never seen that particular hook itself. It's common to bend that bracket assembly.

No i did not buy it on e-bay, thats is not the actually photo of my trailer, my trailer was passed down to me from my grandfather but it resides in Rhode Island as of now. and i appreciate the knowledge thanks

is that the front tow hook or the rear now that i look at more im thinkin rear..

ha am i ever stupid .. hope it didnt mess up the front bumper..

It is the front driver sider i can see the bracket is bent, dose not seem to be bending the frame or bumper but i have heard stories of bumpers beeing ripped off and totally destroyed so i'm hoping its still looking good under there. and thanks for the link!!

SYE spicer 33 inch nittos it was a great rig but the person who had it before me did not care, i was younger then as well so i bought a rig half built.. i know build dont buy, so now im strarting fresh, i'm a body guy can do great body work, but engine and electrical stuff, not my fortay.. thanks again

Those are stock tow points that, I believe, come with the upcountry or skid plates option. I had them on mine when I bought it. The brackets that position it are decent, for a mild straight pull, but not very good for side pulls or yanking.

Time to upgrade them, perhaps with som integrated into a HD bumper? :elkgrin:

thanks i think the previous owner did get that upgrade becaue it does have a front skid gas tank skid and t-case skid along with the tow hooks front and rear. do you think that since it is bent, but is a factory upgrade it would have done any damage to the bumper or uni body?

Yup, when I needed tow points, I just got a bumper. Craigslist has great deals for Jeep stuff...also check NAXJA for sale ads in your local section. You can get awesome deals.
Your unibody should be fine and the bumper is steel anyways, so it doesn't matter...the Jeep will get dirty and banged up
