I'll try to roll it a little more. There's not a great deal of material at the bottom corner so it makes it hard to do. Plus, mine has some previous injuries in that area. I guess that's a good thing since I'll likely be taking a mallet to it.
My bad, I was referring to a spacer lift. Firestone AT 265-75r16. They are fine in the back but just rub the fender well when turning with up travel. It's livable and drivable as is but before it gets more off the beaten path I'd like to fix it.
I installed some larger tires on my 2000 e350 and they just barely rub. I'd like to raise the front just marginally. 1" would be perfect. I saw the maxx-lift but a lot of people say it puts the front above level--closer to 2". I'd like to avoid a see-saw situation. Any recommendations?
Thanks
So I bought a 2000 e350 passenger van. 95k miles on it. Good condition.
I've started stripping the back and have run into a snag. I'm not sure what to do with teh rear ac.
I want to replace the headliner with insulation and wood paneling so my thought was just build a vent in the rear pillar...
I'm going to look at a 1 Ton 4x4 gmc Passenger van this evening. Any thing in particular I should check for like typical locations for rust or common problems on these big block 454s. I'm pretty sure it's a quigley but I'll check when I'm there.
Any insight to this bohemeth? Thanks!
I think the 1.2 liter rule isn't very strict. I believe the adventurists make allowances as long as you donate a few more dollars to charity. £100 for every liter, or so I think.
Just got A mt hardwear ghost whisperer for Christmas. Not sure of the price but this thing is light! Like 6.7 ounces or something. Packs into its own pocket. It will be awesome when I go backpacking again (dealing with a foot injury now). It's a little glossy for my taste but the functionality...
after some research, one of the more substantial problems that the JK is susceptible to is a broken/twisted/bent sector shaft. It's something that is not easily repaired on the trail for sure and it totally immobilizes the vehicle. I think a brace is in my near future. Does anybody carry tie rod...
Holy crap... Man if you guys saw my garage...it's a Maze of busted recording consoles, airplane parts, a weight bench (sheesh), general electronics, and a weed eater. Organization is not my strong suit. I envy this^^
I'm curious to see what you guys carry in regards to parts for your JK or jeep in general. I'm speaking mainly of trail repairs. I'm picking up a spare serpentine belt but is a pulley necessary? What about a radiator hose? I don't think I'd be capable to repair an axle but maybe a u-joint. I...
