Actually that all fell through. The company I was dealing with seemed way to sketchy.. I actually ended up selling that bike and a couple more I had and bought one here witch is actually for sale. XJ does have the most aftermarket support but pretty much anything you want for the ZJ/WJ can be had. I think you should check out all three and see what fits your needs. I'm a big fan of all of them and I was trying to pick between the 3 recently, I've owned a ZJ before and I ended up going...

I agree with the above post. OME lift and different wheels or spacers if you want to run 31's. You can't go wrong with the F>R lift either but you wont need 3.5". You'll probably have to trim your front bumper though witch is not a big deal.

Jeep Commander! Initially not that expensive, witch leaves plenty of money left over to make it unique. Maybe not super luxury but super awesome.

Glad you are getting out and using that thing. The WK2 has grown on me a lot, I think Jeep did an awesome job.

I think that's exactly why he should run the best setup possible. If it where just a trail rig, the way it rides and handles on the freeway at 80mph is not very important. Seems to me the choice is pretty clear.

AEV, IMO no one even come close to their quality.

WK's where actually built from 05-2010. But anyway, I think an 04 WJ is a better platform. 4.7HO, solid axles, larger aftermarket support, cheaper, etc...

4.10's, 4.56's might be too low with 31's but optimal if you went with 33's. I think you should decide how big you want to go first. Your grandma should be fine for now.
