I broke down and bought the brewfire. It rocks. I've used it at 10,500+ with the brunton butane fuel.
I picked it up off opticsplanet for 100 shipped. I was going to get a nice stainless perkolator but for only a few $ more i'd try the brunton.
I would love to know what a swamper truxus 255/85/16 weighs. Anyone?
While I love the look of that Toyo 3 bills for one is a little steep. You could run the maxxis for 1/2 the cost.
Run ehill camp at devils kitchen or butler flat. hike chesler and the confluence overlook, exit the south end of the park to bobbys hole and beef basin and take salt creek back to just south of newspaper rock. nice views of lavender canyon from up high too.
It's basically what is used to pave the hill. It keeps the dirt from eroding. You stretch it out and fill in the honeycomb style open areas will fill dirt.
I have one albeit in another state, no need for another. That one looks pretty clean and I'm sure you'll put it to good use. :camping:
I've been here almost since inception just haven't felt the need to post although overland is more my cup of tea and my rig is built that way. I didn't realize...
