    Our Dual-Sport GMC Sierra

Made quick work of the front suspension! Still one of my favorite threads. What is the overall lift height you are looking at and tire size?

    Stock or near stock vehicles

I have a 2007 Chevy CCSB Classic. I have a rough country leveling kit, 1.5" zone body lift and 285/70/17 tires. I did have black bear retune my computer to recalibrate the speedometer for the larger tire size and to help add some power to the truck. In doing the tune I did notice almost 2 mpg...

Sadly I have the rear end out of my truck along with the transmission and it is undergoing a suspension lift while it is tore down. Will be a few weeks before I have time to put it back together due to my work schedule and the kids sports schedules Sent from my RM-820_nam_att_100 using Tapatalk

    Our Dual-Sport GMC Sierra

So if I am,reading correctly, you will have the new tank in the rear transfer fuel to your factory tank via external pump and switch in the cab? Sent from my RM-820_nam_att_100 using Tapatalk

Truck is coming along nicely! Can't wait to see the fuel tank and how it is set up. I have looked into dozens of aftermarket options but have not found one to fit the bill yet. Congrats on the progress! Sent from my RM-820_nam_att_100 using Tapatalk

    1500 Suburban vs. Something Else?

Worse case scenario, you have to buy a bigger garage door :) Sent from my RM-820_nam_att_100 using Board Express

    1500 Suburban vs. Something Else?

The one main thing I would consider is price. Is the vehicle your driving now paid off? Will you be buying another vehicle outright? I have many times thought about buying a new vehicle and modding, but my current truck (2006 Chevy Silverado ccsb) is paid off and works for what I need. Just a...

This has to be one of my favorite trucks right now! How are you liking the leaf springs in the front vs. coils or coil overs?

    99 Suburban Slow Build

Your best bet for the visors is a local salvage yard such as you wrench it, or go online to LMC and they will carry most of what your looking for at good prices. Sent from my RM-820_nam_att_100 using Board Express

    99 Suburban Slow Build

I had the computer tuned on my trucks with nothing more than a drop in filter (K&N) and a replacement muffler and I see an average of 2mpg increase in town and highway with larger tires, a small lift and factory 3.42 gears. Sent from my RM-820_nam_att_100 using Board Express

    99 Suburban Slow Build

You could go with a leveling kit, such as the one Rough Country offers. You would be able to run a 285/75/16 tire on your stock wheels as well. Makes for added ground clearance and not a lot out of pocket cost. I would also look into having the computer tuned by someone such as black bear...
