First post edited. My mistake for using the "Expo" word. Happy? No? Oh well. My momma taught me "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all".

Way to go Turbolad! You are on your way to a life of fun! So far I have only lost money on new rigs. Used ones I usually at least break even on... Where are you in Canada? It's a big place...

nothing like a smile on a snowy day in the south- great thread!! I started at 16, wanted a car, no monies. So, Dad has a buddy willing to donate to me an old Studebaker, to get it out of his way, aka: wife's view. I pick it up w/ 1/2 tank of gas, it starts & runs. Drive her home, sell it the next day for $250 to a kid at school w/ a Studebaker fettish. All profit, never to be replicated.
Currently:
-'83 'burb 2500 4x4 w/ 48k
-'76 Scout w/ 97k
-'07 PW Flippac, amazing fun truck!!
-'11 F250 diesel, 9k miles first 2 months
-a few Land Rovers(6 drivable)
-Ural 2x2 family fun

Wish I had kept a complete list over the years- both bikes & cars/trucks. A guy wanted to trade me his AC Cobra for my '76 455 TA +$9k, I laughed then, and cry now...
missery loves company :)

Wow, you got some sick stuff on this list.:Wow1: You must be a glutton for punishment.

Not a glutton for punishment, just don't like to have the same thing everyone else has!

BTW, the Mazda RPU had a full Racing Beat motor in it...headers, ported housings, Holley 4-barrel. It was a screamer! Fast, and you could lay down a nice blue smoke screen when you pushed it!

The Packard 180 was a complete rebuild (the counterweighted crank weighed 120#!), a custom ground cam, relieved block, milled '52 Packard aluminum head and 4 barrel manifold. Once drove it 20 miles without the right front wheel to win a bet! On the Packard 180, you could remove any wheel and the brake drum would not touch the ground. Packard showed one driving without a front wheel in advertising.

Hasn't everyone had an Auto Union or DKW?::Wow1:

I cannot even think of how many I have owned... but if it makes you feel better I have 12 registered trucks on my property right now that I am paying insurance on so I think I fit the A.D.D. mindset, now if I could have the heart to get rid of a few of them maybe I could afford to do some serious upgrades on the ones I really like.
But every time I go to sell one I think.... ummmm your gonna regret this. so here they all sit.:Wow1:
