I have been a bit busy lately, so updates and work on the truck have been pushed back.
I did however, manage to do the following:
1. Purchase the oil for transfer case
2. New Oil & Filter for oil change
3. Install Fire Extinguisher
4. Install Edgestar Fridge
The Fridge sits nicely away from the rear so it has plenty of room to vent.
I also got lucky and the length of the fridge happens to be the same distance between the child seat safety brackets. So it will rest on these. Sits almost perfectly level.
I also made some nifty brackets to replace the plastic handles. The handles work just fine, but there have been reorts of them breaking/coming apart. So I made some aluminum brackets with a 45* bend to mount to some turnbuckles. I have not got that far, but I strapped it down to see how it would work, and went for a long drive on East Bays worst freeway.. 680 lol
I also lucked out and the lid opens without any issues, and has a bit or clearance on top still
Last but not least, is the Fire Ext. w/extra large quickfist
Remaining items to check off the lsit:

4. Should prolly do a coolant flush.. but well see how much time I have.

I think I will make a mount and put the 2nd tire here
This was in the way of the new tow hook, so it had to go..

I think it may be best to put that spare in the bed or on both the cross bars. I would hate to see what that tire and wheel will do to the paint and roof after a day of driving down washboards! The bed would also be better as it would create less drag going down the hwy, not to mention better center of gravity to.

Thx Gordon, I got a few other comments like that on the Frontier forum. I actually already started thinking of ways to change it. It may end up staying there, but lifted slightly off the roof, like on a rack.
Like Imention, this is where I would liek to keep it. Im just not skilled enough to make something in time for the trip. Im sure with more time, and some help from a friend, I can make something. It will have to wait til i return home tho.
Appreciate the tip, its deff not going to be up there for the drive. It may be stashed up there while I sleep... but thats about it!

Soo I attempted to paint the camper shell today. Figured any kind of silver would make for better photos than the bright blue. Of coarse, it was a beatiful day when I started masking and sanding. Sure enough, as soon as I started to spray, temps dropped 10* clouds started coming in, and the wind picked up... uhh it looks terrible, but its still better than the blue!
OMG SILVER DOESNT MATCH! Sanded down to dull it out!! CRAP!
AWWWW a little better..
Final Product, its grey out.. prolly wont dry before the rain comes.. and im flippin tired..

That looks better then is was blue! Stashing the tire up top when you sleep and down low when you drive sounds like good idea, and you'll get a work out to boot!:sombrero:

Completed the fridge mounts!
Put the screen on the window so I can vent the camper when I sleep!
Finally drilled the holes and bolted camper shell, no more C clamps!
Also changed the oil, still running AMSOIL 5w30 w/new filter
