The only problem I can see is that it is only possible to make a track drive to the rear, as opposed to the front drive in the origianal German half track.
Can you see any problems with this?:Wow1:

Nope, should work just fine.

Got the hydraulic drive for the winch today:

"Just" need to look how the winch is geared and how i can mate them together.

Started cutting some steel today:

Then i started mocking up the front hydraulics:

Cleaned the ram up a bit:

And put it on:

Looks like this will be fun until i get it how i want it.

Had to use steel instead of wood for mock up:

Then i remembered i have some hydraulic rod ends laying around that i could use:

Few hours later i got it where it`s supposed to be. All the way down:

All the way up:

Did the math. Looks like i need a valve to get the pressure down:

Then i started with the ram mount:

The saw also finished cutting today:

Actually both me and Steinbruchsoldat are huge fans of vintage WW2 vehicles. He helped me develop the camoflague paint for my rig as shown here...



So when I post a pic of a....



Kfz 251 from WW" it is actually motivation as we are going to build a replica of this vehicle....

Finished the front hydraulics mount today:

Pretty solid looking mount that you built Steinez. Is it offset to one side or is it just an optical illusion from the pic? I can guess that this will be the ram and mounting for the dumper. Are you going to have any other options/accesories for the vehicle? Cheers, Chilli...

Yes, it`s offset to the driver side. There will be the upper link mount in the middle and the ram offset to the left. I`m building this to commercial specs, so i can use almost every agricultural/forestral attachment. Also going to build a front end loader for it.

Didn`t get the winch today, so i finished the most time consuming shackle mount ever:

Got the donor winch today:

Took it apart, looked like it wasn`t sealed right:

Put it in the parts washer real quick and it looked a lot better:

Did some math, doesn`t look bad:

Still got a good idea about the planetary drive, need to look into that tomorrow...

Sure, i wouldn't exspect that from you either. Just was a little bit upset about that comment from that guy a while back...
