New $100 HIDs

I can honestly say they have been flawless. They run off my OEM fog light harness and switch.

The plastic covers have protected the main body nicely. So far there is no obvious UV damage or fading of any kind. Also, upon inspection I have not found any cracks in the housings.

They have survived some very spirited dirt road driving, and many expeditions, and high speed freeway commutes.

Without a doubt I would buy them again. Whenever there is not a car in front of me I turn them just like I would my high beams. I am so used to having them that my normal IPF H4 Fatboy bulbs seem inadequate.

Now that the time has changed it is dark when I leave work so I use them daily.

Hopefully that helps. If you have any questions please let me know.

Still going strong here as well. Seen several expeditions to the SW Corner of Oregon (Alvord Desert/Steens/Hart Mountain) and lots of back country travel between, plus plenty of your average highway, run of the mill stuff and they have been superb. I am running mine off of a stock toyota foglight switch I picked up from the stealership for $10. Looks and fits OEM in my Nissan.

Since I am running a stock bumber, for a mount I built an L out of thin angle Iron and welded it to my core support and the bolted the lights through the L. Cheap and effective.

Mount comes off the bottom and you can rotate it to be back mount if need be. Pretty flexible design really. The only thing I actually don't like about the lights is purely cosmetic... the red HID ring around the light. Would have preferred it was a more understated black, lol. Go figure. Seriously, you can't go wrong with them. When I bought mine Schucks was having a sale and I get them for $79.99 a piece.

I'm more than impressed with the quality of these China made lights.
Not only have they held up to nearly 10,000 offroad miles this year, but they have worked flawlessly on our race car. It shakes, A LOT. :ylsmoke:

You guys got me all excited about these lights now. I went to checker yesterday and was talking to the guys that work there about them and they love them. We took one out of the box and compared it to a hella 500ff and it seemed like the 7"HID was alot better quality.

Does anyone have the 4" version? From what I can tell, everyone is getting the 7". I think next time I go to checker I am going to put each one up to my stock bumper and see which one would fit better on my stock tacoma bumper. I think the price difference between the two is so minimal that it would seem dumb to get the 4" when the 7" are only 6 bucks more.

Wouldnt a 4" one still be better than a larger regular spot light? I think with a 4" youre right you can put anywhere and it will fit...

I went out to go get a pair (for now) to start replacing the 4 KC 130w Daylighters. First impressions are that they didn't quite put out as much light. Granted, this was all done in the garage so I'll have a better idea later tonight. Has anyone gone from a KC 130w halogen to these? Just curious as to your thoughts on them.
