I cant believe someone would spend $6k on a trailer when you can have the wifey carry all yer junk in one of these behind you. Trailers dont have lockers or this kind of cargo capacity.

Or maybe not... got a link to pics and its beat pretty well. To say its a little rough around the edges is accurate, but the drivetrain sounds good. The good news is he said he'd match a local one with lockers at $5200 for anyone else interested. I've gotta think more about this one. I did find a white one with lockers for $3300 though, but the mileage isnt listed & the guy hasnt got back to me yet.

Check the clear coat on the roof and hood. I've seen a bunch of green ones with failing clear coat areas. My 1993, that I loved, had it on the top hatch, hood, and part of the roof line over the windshield.

CC on the hood is nonexistent, and front & rear bumpers are damaged, interior is tattered leather, just looks like its been rode hard & put away wet!

Like dave mentioned the clear coat on the emerald green is a notorious problem area. I painted my hood flat black because I got tired of looking at it all the time.

The leather seats will more than likely be a problem area for an 80, it is very difficult to find any without leather seats. From my understanding they were done at the dealership and most used cheap leather.


There is a 94 on here that someone linked to a Phoenix craigslist ad. Mileage is a tad high, but not bad. And lockers with cloth seats.
