Double Down

For anyone trying to figure out a water storage solution, I figured I'd pass along this mfg I found....Iggycorp. Website is https://shop.iggycorp.com/products/scepter-mci-water-can-cap

Been wanting to add a more permanent and higher capacity water tank to the truck, but also respect the budget side of it. This guy 3D prints Scepter lids w an Osprey style QD, same exact one as the Dometics and others, but I know the Osprey stuff work too.

Haven't figured the final layout and mounting solution out just yet, but am digging the product so far....pic dump to follow:

Great find! I have been using the Iggycorp lid with two 5-gallon Scepter water cans and a Dometic faucet in my OVRLND for the last two years, works great!

One word of caution...at least on the first one I bought, I cracked the top of the cap from tightening it to the water can. I recently bought a replacement for that reason, and it says Version 1.2, so maybe he made a change?

Has anyone though about installing a marine grade boat hatch on the roof, use it as a sky light?

There was a guy that posted years ago, that had a hatch built in. I don't remember his name but I think it was a Hallmark camper.

I think I need a bigger truck!

I recently saw these on the Vancity Vanlife channel. He is going to be selling them on his http://vantoys.ca store. Pretty slick units, not sure how much they are, but probably inline with a marine product (or likely cheaper.

Looks pretty slick and includes bug screen/shade too.

For all of the Second Generation Tundras on here, give this a look.

I know there has been discussion about bed welds cracking with campers installed; just saw this bolt on solution and think I may give it a try. I inspected all my weld recently, and none were cracked, so this is purely preventative at this point.

FYI.... this is made in Denver, CO....and from there, to me, in Flagtown, shipping is $200! Beware that its half again the cost.
