One more vote for the mv-50. Dollar for dollar I still haven't seen anything that will compare. They take a little longer if you have BIG tires, and you should probably it cool down if you have really big tires. Its one of the best $70 I ever spent. It has saved my bacon more than once....
Kicked it when I walked past it this morning....bad jeep bad!
The transmission swap became another transmission rebuild since I have to use the original SM420 case that was modified for the conversion, I can't use the replacement case I bought. The old one just had too many little...
I agree on the .22lr dry fire, forgot to specify that.
On a semi-related note, you can get a .22lr conversion for the large frame glock I think. 500 rounds for $20 makes for a lot of good practice.
I'm kinda bummed I missed this threads beginning....anyways, few things.
-Don't get to caught up in caliber and bullet type. Accurate and efficient shot placement is going to make the most difference.
-Shoot what you feel comfortable with. If a Glock works for you then a Glock works for you...
You should pick up one of the mv-50 compressors from an auto parts place. Fits behind the seat and works great for a $70 compressor. I have used it to air up my Michelin's so your little tire should be no problem :)
I'm pretty sure the 2010 dodge 2500 and 3500 got a new set of knuckles with a larger u-joint. Instead of being 1485 sized ( but AAM ) it is now 1550 ( but AAM ) size. From some rough measurements the knuckle is now about an inch taller.
So what is new with the 2010 Powerwagon? I heard the 2010's 2500/3500 trucks got an upgraded from axle with 1550 sized steering joints! They also have the updated steering linkage from the 2008+?
What rear axle do they have now? Rear suspension?
I picked up the HE351CW ( non-vgt, 04.5-07 5.9 turbo ).
From what I understand you can't swap the 3rd gen manifold on the older trucks because the turbo would be in the firewall.
The he351cw basically just bolts to the 1st-2nd gen manifold. The 2nd gen manifold is suppose to provide more...
In general, I think this is not only a good testament to how good the powerwagon is, but how good the 3rd/4th gen dodge is in general. If I was to build another truck it would be a 3rd gen( regular cab, diesel, Cummins, auto ).
I do think that Dodge shot themselves in the foot not offering the...
Just remember....its a $37 head unit.
Amazon.com: Dual XR4110 AM/FM USB/SD/3.5-mm Mechless Receiver (Gray): Automotive
I would say the only con so far for me would be that the amplifier in the deck is a little weaker than the last deck, but with far less distortion. I will be adding a small...
I need a new ashtray..
A 16 gig SD card was less than $20 shipped. That will give me more than enough music I hope.
So for $60 or so I have a 16-gig 'truck-pod' stereo system :) I guess I could plug my phone in also, that has a 32 gig card in it...
I ordered a set of 'affordable' 6.5" front...
Nothing fancy or exotic, but this was a good $37 invested....
This is a really neat basic little receiver. It is only an AM/FM radio with the ability to play MP3 files through an SD card or USB stick ( as shown ). It doesn't have a cd player in it at all. I ordered up a 16 gig SD card but it...
I would have to agree....
It's WAY to easy to take WAY too much stuff. A lighter vehicle is a happier vehicle. Look through everything you have an try to think of different ways to use the same gear....
Will a tow strap function as a tree strap if you need it to...yup. Is it the perfect length...
Yup, exactly....
I pull into Moab on last Thursday evening and the freaking Nukizer is cruising next to me down main street! You can hear the turbo, you can hear the diesel, that is just TORTURE!
PLEASE.....give me a 3-door J8 diesel!!!!!
