    The Great White Buffalo

No, nothing like that yet. Just a bunch of stock repalcement parts for the 3FE: wires, plugs, cap, rotor, gaskets, PCVs, O2 sensors and some EGR items. The heater core will arrive next week. Funny you mention the battery though, I'm curious as to how long the current one will last with the...

Thanks for the kind comments all. I have listed the slide in the FS section as it no longer fits my needs...might save some the hassle of making one.

You can see how it is attached in the pictures...temporay for now, but it gets the job done. I'll fab the actual mounts when I have the time.

Like this: Not sure if I like it though, and I really want to fab another full length rack that is mounted to the rails. I have my FSM now, and need to address trouble code 71(EGR) and the heater core/AC recharge. Birfs will follow. Maybe here, maybe Flagstaff.

    Behold...my home-made Engel fridge slide!

I'm flattered! Just make sure you make a jig for the bearing bolt holes so you can repeat the spacing for the rail.

    Behold...my home-made Engel fridge slide!

Been using it in the back of my WJ since I made it without issue. The rails havent caught me yet. We'll see if I use it in my '91 FJ. I replaced the soft rubber stops with hard rubber ones as the rails would vibrate back and forth on certain roads...no more irritating chunka chunka chunkas.

    The Great White Buffalo

We were driving down Supelveda a week ago today, and passed the Carl's Jr/Green Burrito, and were sitting at the traffic signal. Looked over and saw the 80 with a For Sale sign on the back window, so we turned in and took a look. As I was looking it over, the owner's came out and we talked a bit...

    1. Where is a good source for the FSMs? I'm slowly wading through the threads on Mud, but haven't seen anything conclusive. Local to L.A. would be nice. 3/6. Once I clean the engine bay and axle, I'll take a close look at the birfs and their grease and make the determination from there. 5...

Recession Forces Sale: ADV DUO Sportsmobile

You got it handled dude. Back when my wife and I first married, I sold off every aftermarket item I had on my 1995 XJ that was very nicely built. It allowed us to make it through a very rough time financially. Let us know if you need anything, especially if you come through the LAX area as we...

Sinagua Equinox Calendar at the V-V

The two "shaft rocks" were the placed there by the shaman...so they say. Apparently, there are 8 some sites along Beaver Creek where we were. We also saw some old irrigation canals that were done by the Sinagua. Damn cool.

    Macho B

Talk about a pisser, Macho B is dead. From the articles I've read, it sounds as though the scientists discovered terminal kidney problems, and then the decision was made to euthanize the animal; can anyone corroborate this? My condolences to all involved and invested in the entire Jaguar Project.
