I dabble in alternative fuels. That was my focus in engineering at college, go figure I work for a company that deals mainly with oil and natural gas!
Anyways....
My most current research ( yes, I do research for fun. ) has been into the pyrolysis of vegetable oil to make bio-fuel. Basically...
Now this is an idea.
We had 'outdoor sports' in my school system that taught you everything from kayaking to fly tying to archery. Making a 'hunters safety' type program mandatory for ALL children would probably be a good place to start. Curriculum would be tough to write to make everyone happy...
.....but they already build them in the USA! Make it a custom order option and don't stock them at the dealers.....I would custom order in a heartbeat if I could get a diesel.
As I stated, the 2011 Diesel could meet our emissions I think. I don't know what 'bin' we need to be on 'tier 2', but...
Do you happen to know what they changed on the 2010 front axle? I heard it got a significantly bigger U-joint in the axle and perhaps a better unit-bearing?
Cost is the kicker for me. I shoot PMAGs and the money just doesn't add up. I can get 3 PMAGs for around $45. If they could have kept the cost in that range I would have been interested.
Really? Do schizophrenics still retain enough cognizance of the law to keep themselves from harming others? Do they have the reasoning skills to understand the difference in a stiffer punishment?
What percentage of crime is committed by schizophrenic people? I think your focusing on a specific...
I say do nothing more than make the punishment for crime more severe.
That would solve 99% of the problem. While we are focusing on a specific incidence, bringing overall crime down would be much more advantageous than trying to eliminate one set of factors in gun ownership. You are always...
Teleturns,
Few questions on your crossover.
How tall are your springpacks?
How much room currently from the top of the drivers springpack to the pitman arm TRE?
A bolt on solution could be nice....
Thanks.
Well.....still thinking about it....
I guess you can import a complete vehicle for research and development. I would plan to research and develop a way to swap the body over from a 2011 USA model JK. While it would be EXPENSIVE for sure, you would end up with a diesel powered JK you could have...
The early sprinter vans where a 5cyl 2.7L diesel, the new ones are a v-6 3.0 diesel.
Diesel liberty is the only domestic source for the 2.8CRD that I know of.
Everyone keeps saying this. Please show me irrefutable eviudence that is not a demonstration of the lack of proper law enforcement.
Chicago is a pretty good example. You have to pay for permits, you have to be registered, some weapons where basically forbid......and you still had some of the...
Absolutely correct. Criminals commit crimes with stolen weapons, primarily. So why not make the weapons an easier legal entity to regulate? Harder to get generally translates to harder to steal. If weapons took longer to get based on lethality, owners would have an incentive to better protect...
WWII gun history is more complicated than that. Hitler feared civilian gun ownership.....so did Japan.
Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto - “You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass.”
