Totally hear you on this one! Me too! However I'm thinking that now they have either a set of walls or you can buy individual walls, one wall attached to that section and covering the spare tire will be the fix! I'm trying to oder a wall or two when they are available state side.

Well, unfortunately like the title says, I went to zip up the rear door and the zipper fastener thingy broke off. Standing there with the tent on top of the cruiser thinking how in the world do I get this fixed? Any ideas? I can't just mail it off like a Patagonia jacket.

I can measure mine when I get home today. Just to clarify you mean the bag with the awning in it? because the bag comes separately from the awning. You can fold up the bag and store it in your glovebox but obviously not with the awning in it.
