Thanks for the video info! I have been looking for a good solar panel, but I need one that will work with my Goal Zero Yeti 400. Goal Zero makes one but they want $700+ for it and that's way out of my price range.
What kind of solar panel are you using with your Yeti 400? I have one but I usually charge it off my truck when it gets really low. Would be nice to have a panel or two that tops it off.
Just read a few of the post in the link you provided Bill. Seems like the way to go is dual battery but a smaller system that my truck alternator will charge correctly. I had no idea this much data was available on this topic. Ducky's Dad, since you seem to be really smart on all this, do you...
Thanks for the information guys. I've done a few searches for "battery monitor and alarm" but most of the reviews suggest these system are not as accurate as they should be. The national luna single monitor looks promising. I may end up going with this.
As far as the Odyssey battery, I wasn't...
In hopes of keeping my system simple I am trying to come up with a way that eliminates the need for a dual battery set up.
I have a Four Wheel Camper that runs the basics (Fantastic Fan, 2x LED Lights) off of my house battery. I also have a 9k winch that requires a lot of power to run.
(My set...
I'm looking to purchase an awning that is 270 degrees and has the option to have walls. Can someone point me in the right direction? All I can find are the ones without walls.
Hey Herbie,
I just recently received my FWC and have only spent a few nights camping in it. Based off of the info in your post I would suggest getting a shell model(Side Entry) from FWC. I also went with a shell since I wasn't sure if I would like the layout. I plan on sleeping in the camper...
Hey Uncle D, I also have a swift that I picked up a few days ago. I'm running a BDS 4" DB lift with the RCD shocks(removed the spacers). I also have the Firestone ride rite bags in the rear. With this setup the ride is awesome. Super smooth on the HWY and works great on fire roads as well. My...
I've had an RV5 in the past and based on the size of your family I would say you need the RV5 as well. Since your spending that much money on a tent you want to get something that you can use for a while.
Ah resale...great point. I do plan on keeping this truck for a while but at some point I am sure I will trade it in. This is something I should consider. Thanks!
Thanks for the info on Front Range...I'll give them a call. Since you build off road vehicles for a living do you think that I'm...
Yes, you are correct. Looks and style are playing a huge roll in this decision. 2" doesn't look any different than stock from my eyes.
Here is a pic of 33s on a 4.5 RCD kit. Looks pretty good to me.
