    Cooling the cab

Sounds to me like a lack of ariflow, did they check the prefilter next to the evaporator? you can also clean the Evap insitu with coil cleaner, which is an alkaline. Be sure to flush with lots and lots of water after though, otherwise it will leak. Also clean the fan blades. This may help it...

    Build up costs

Shooting from the hip here Jack, but if my mind serves me correctly, the Turbo Canter came out due to ADR 80 and Euro 4 compliance. Which makes it 2002/2003. I know the 2000 models were the 4.2 natural. Not sure about the 2001. The Dual cab would probably suit a small roof mount system, but i...

    Question on differential vents

I've never had any issues with breather vents where they are, I've had trouble with Pinion seals on the rear diffs letting water in when the lads don't let them cool down before driving into cold water. doesn't take long, only about 1/2 minute to drop temp and make it not as savage. I've found...

Camper Frame Material - Aluminium or Steel?

The figures are impressive Richard, but as a marnie vessel, the stress loadings are quite different to a motor vehicle. When i designed our trucks, i took into account the life of the vehicle and designed for 15-20 years. Through this they are to cope with repeated vibration and stress and not a...

Camper Frame Material - Aluminium or Steel?

Ours are Ally frames with ally sheet stiched to the frame on both sides. Stitches are 50mm with 75mm spacings, Bloody stong and durable, had one fall on it's side and haven't done anything to it. You wont save much on weight, but provided you do it right, they will be stronger than most other...
