    An Australian made expedition 4x4

I've taken an interest in them, only because of the Cummins/Allison set up. Air disc are a bonus also. No tilt cab is a downside, but Bae make good stuff (axles, transfer). Waiting on them to arrive in Cairns for another company so I can have a look!

    Nps vs fg

haven't had a good look at the new model, only took it for a drive when they had it at Cairns, Some drivers don't like the cable shift. They were on the old FTS that i had on Fraser and can take some getting used to (but it was also a very old truck). It was great to catch up with Paul again, I...

    Bent Frame FG Auction

I think you'll find that the rear section of the chassis is thinner then the "goose neck", most of the broken back Canters here have done in the rear section, which is fairly cheap, as alot of the write offs have been front ended. Which equates to an abundance of good back ends around. Also they...

    All Terrain Warriors campers

My take on it is that our foot print is long, not wide. Process of natural selection has to stand for something. The rolling diameter is everything. There are alot of old sayings that the forestry workers used on the island, You can make thin tyres fat, but you can't make fat tyres thin. Let's...

my new 6 wheel land rover defender

On a quick note, diff locks front and rear and your machine should go everywhere you want it to. I did do extended trips with 13 people for 2 weeks in Cape York Australia, with a 6x4 toyota. Sorry it wasn't a Rover, but i did drive 6x6 rovers on Fraser island.

    Australian touring vehicle

Thanks Mick, great work mate!! It's a 6x4 tourer made by either Pierce engineering or Coerts in Noosa. It looks like the old model, which is discernable by the roof shape, the newer models had a 100mm height added above the windscreen. They were famous along with the arkana and preferred until...
