    There are many to choose from, Kenworth, UD, Freightliner Fuso Isuzu etc etc. All of which are Dotars approved for ADR. DOT have a different set of rules for some circumstances, but in my experience, most carry over. The one that don't are things like padding etc

    It wouldn't be hard to retro fit a Hydraulic lift off say a freightliner or Kenworth cab over. All you would have to do is Airbag the back of the cab to give a nice ride!!! It would be easy!!

    The oversize fish plates are to compensate for the 4.5 mm that we are all so familiar with. It was adjacent to this point that the chassis tried to break in half. All bolts were upgraded to T16 caterpillar. I must also apologise for the poor quality images, the samsung phone isn't the best.

    OK, here's some picture of the cross member replacement with a volvo x member. A you can see, not that i have mentioned, it took considerable modification to get the volvo one to fit.

    I cut mine right out and replaced one with a Volvo X member, the other i just ground out & welded. both are still fine.

    Nah mate, both of mine are aluminium frame. Just make sure you get the mountings right for design regs.
