They have bolts from the interior. I would guess it depends upon how rusty/stuck they are.
I have a 2006 flippac, that came deleted with a replacement torsion bar. Getting the old pieces out took heat, penetration fluid, and a tie rod puller with my impact. Getting the new one in wasn’t much...
My Classic is a sad tale of woe, and all too typical. It sits halfway through a project with little time. New house, kid, new job. We have a Tundra with a flippac, so we are getting out, but I really miss the classic.
It’s at my old house , and is actually getting some love as I need to move...
Jon,
I was super excited when I got the alert for a new post in your thread.
I’m really sorry to hear about the accident. Good luck with recovery.
Clean Discos are starting to become valuable. Not sure it’s worth combining the 2. I would look st pricing on Bring a trailer.

We were pretty excited about the IDBR. Reality is the parts we did were uneventful. Basically well maintained. I was wishing for a little more challenge, but at the end of the day the parts we did weren’t. Seems like most of the roads in N. Idaho are maintained for hunters. None of the tracks we...
Partial IDBDR part 2
We got up and broke camp quickly as the bees were pretty bad. Headed down trail towards Wallace.
One slight mishap, we had a small puncture in a tire. Put on the spare. Since this was Labor Day Monday we would have to wait for Tuesday morning to get it repaired. No...
You’re welcome. I find that I like seeing progress on others builds, especially when it shows how long/ how much work it can be.

Got a bunch of stuff ordered and installed. Not the full interior, but the initial base. It’s 30mm t-slot 80/20 style extruded aluminum.
We also hooked up the battery to battery charger, blue sea fuse block, and the house battery.
Then this came in the mail!
Installed with cover...
I have the bfg ko2 on my Tundra. I went up one size to the 4Runner standard. They do a good job on fresh powder, slush, refreeze, everything you find going skiing in UT. Highly recommend them, and would get them again.

I have nothing constructive to add, but this sucks. You have my sympathy.
Chasing a vibration or noise and replacing parts gets frustrating and expensive. On top of that you want the shop to make it right, but if they did it wrong in the first place what’s to expect them to get it right a...
I once received a free set of tires, nearly new with the little wear nubs still on. Right size. I was stoked. Put them on my new to me Range Rover at the same time as a 2” lift. Horrible road manners above 45 mph. Chased down bushings, crank arms, steering dampener, etc ... most of those things...
I'm cross posting from my Tundra thread. I am planning on building out the bed of the truck to make access to gear when at camp and traveling much easier.
We have put about 30 nights in the flippac, and have come up with our needs.
We need easy access to chairs and tables for camp setup. We...
Well, it has been awhile since I updated this thread. Basically, we have been utilizing the camper and baselining how we use the interior.
We took it to Idaho for the eclipse:
Did a small mountain biking trip, explored southern Utah and the Wasatch and Unitas. We have put about 30 nights in...
I have only used mine briefly at a kids birthday party. Is this the mall crawler equivalent of using a cooler?
Anyway worked fine, but when I carried it downstairs a few days later to drain and dry it out, I was lazy and only used one handle. It leaked water out of the top seal. Haven't...
If you're in Utah, they have them at the factory store. They were selling seconds for $49 or $59. Don't remember off the top of my head.
