don't want to hi-jack as I presume Robert will have a link for the film he was a part of, but you can search "The Bowler EXR-S" on youtube.com. :) It was the top of the search for me.
and apologies but I guess that was Chris Harris.
Cheers,
Mike
Robert,
Just saw a video of the Bowler being driven by Dan Harris. He has a memorable quote at the end, he says, pardon my seating position but this was last driven by a 6'5" German. That wouldn't be anyone we know would it? :D Also looks like in the video that we see you take the picture...
I need some parts transport help. Anyone coming through Kansas City, willing to p/u an upper tailgate for a RRC and bring it to Overland Expo? I can be reached at mmmalone40 at gmail dot com or on this thread or PM or whatever. :)
Thanks for the help, hope everyone is on schedule.

Well not sure if a series counts, but I have driven long distances in my classic, both swb and lwb series, a 101, and ridden as a passenger in a 90. I have had issues with all of them :D but don't have any issues sitting in the series all day long, and the windscreen on the defender makes it...
Jon,
I hope you get the medical issues figured out, and the ins fixes your p/u. I am sure that you will have lots of garage time while your GF is deployed (may she stay safe). Now, get yourself better, I need my fix! :)
Mike
The big honking piece of bent steel bolted and welded to the rear cross member (or whatever you call it on an LR3) in the pictures in the first post. :)
Cheers
That is nice install. Very clean carrier. Since they are not in production, would you mind taking a couple of additional pictures? I would like to see how the arm sits when closed. and do you know where the latch was sourced?
Thanks,
Mike
Jon,
You are killing me. I now have to go rip out my entire interior and start over. LOL In reality I already need to rip it out and start over. The cargo strips at the roof line are Brilliant! Its looking great, thanks for bringing us along for the ride.
MMM
WOW!
It looks great. I have been talking about/toying with the idea of doing the Lizard Skin for a couple of years now. Way to do it right. Can't wait to hear reports on temp and sound control.
Cheers,
Mike
Robert, are you sliding the rear end around, or is that how far off your steering is after sliding through the wall? Looks like fun. Keep the rubber side down.
Glad all are safe.
Cheers,
I like my sliders from Atlantic British. They mount to the sill and to the outriggers. (which is a problem for some) match the lines of the RRC pretty well. Come on now, those steps were a pricy option new. :) If you need help with anything locally, let us know.

I have run the Super Swamper Narrow TSL SS 34x9x16. they come in a 34x9.5x15. Absolutely amazing tire in the mud and root environment. I would recommend the Special Service tire to anyone driving in that environment.
