    Ducati Scrambler: Adventure Redefined

Interesting idea. I bet it might. The first thing I would do is lace a custom 19" wheel for the front. Should be easy to do.

Why Your Next 4WD Should be a Right Hand Drive

The HJ61 I had for over a month would cruise no problem at 80mph.

    Overland Journal: Discovery I, 5-speed

The vehicle was $6,500 in 2008. Total modifications have been approximately $12,000. Just the new third members and new gears (3.90:1) was $3,500 installed. It adds up quickly, but there are a few things I would do differently, principally the front control arms and double-double front drive...

6/95, so a really late 1995 model year truck. Probably the reason for the amber signals.

Why Your Next 4WD Should be a Right Hand Drive

Yeah Mat, they are just more desirable and more expensive to purchase at auction. Global competition for these Cruisers is pretty strong, with models being shipped to the Far East of Russia and all over Africa.

Why Your Next 4WD Should be a Right Hand Drive

I agree Mat, the height of the SUVs and 4wd vans really helps.

Thanks Ryan. I am installing a few tie-downs, but then plan to use primarily Pelican cases (first layer), then soft bags. Realistically, the long trip expectations of this truck are over. I have thought of using it for the length of the Arizona Traverse next year. I want it to be more of a time...

    Overland Journal: Discovery I, 5-speed

Now that my travel schedule has lightened up (for a few months), I am finishing up a few of the vehicles, starting with the Discovery (being favorite has privileges). First, I took everything out of the cargo area- everything. I removed the drawer system, water tank, fridge, everything. Gave it...

Why Your Next 4WD Should be a Right Hand Drive

Hey, everyone has different capacities for adapting to driving challenges and environments. Sounds like RHD isn't for you. After two circumnavigations with RHD, I have not encountered a single safety incident attributable to the RHD. Never had an accident, never even had a flat. . .

    2017 Wrangler to be Unibody...

The Jeep Wrangler has the highest off-road usage reporting in the industry. Over 40% of Wrangler owners use their vehicles on the dirt. For the others, it is the fact that they CAN if they NEED to. Do not underestimate the power of authenticity in the consumer mindset. Even the consumers that...

Overland Journal Project Land Rover Discovery 4 (LR4)

There are no significant limitations to the LR4. Most wagons are heavy and fuel range can be easily augmented. I was able to fit 18" wheels and nearly 33" tires with little drama. Lockers are available. Here is a recent video shot in Utah. A little LR4 love in there too.
