It is also the winch I use for my daily driver, private labeled for Viking Offroad.
Note, neither the Antarctica or G-Wagen winch was sponsored. Both were paid for.
This is also not to take anything away from the Warns. They are next level and what we use on many of our vehicles as well. I...
If you are looking for a less expensive winch, check out the ComeUp winches. They are the EXACT same winches as the last generation Superwinch, including Albright solenoids, etc. We have beat on them pretty hard, including -40 :)
Have you driven or tested the Brute? Just curious what experienced formed that opinion. . .
As mentioned multiple times, "Ultimate" must exclude the consideration for price. If we were awarding the best value, then the outcome would be different. This article does not even attempt to validate...
Have you driven the Brute?
I have driven all of them, and cost aside those other vehicles don't compare. The difference in capability with a Wrangler Rubicon platform is shocking. The Brute is also supremely comfortable for rear passengers and benefits from all of that serious Rubicon...

It comes down to the utility and capability for me. I am finding the Brute to be incredibly versatile, yet significantly more capable than any pickup on the market. I don't pack heavy, so the payload is not an issue. It is the storage volume and flexibility that makes it so useful. I can mount a...
We have two Canon lenses for sale. This 28-300mm L lens is less than a year old and only used on a few trips. Image stabilized ultimate photojournalist lens. $2,600 new. $1,950 to an ExPo member. Goes on Ebay Friday.
The second lens for sale is a 14mm 2.8L prime. Never used in the field. Only...
Yeah. I have a few lifts of a fully loaded GSA in me, but it is the getting stuck that makes buddies a requirement. We got off route in Baja and ended up in super soft sand. Just turning all those bikes around was super tough.
