Expeditions 7: Two Years Around the World on all Seven Continents.

The Iceland segment will be featured in the next issue (Fall) of Overland Journal, where Greg, Sinuhe, Arctic Trucks and I crossed the largest glacier in Europe using two Land Cruiser 78s. It was one of my most memorable adventures. Greg, having fun on the coastal dunes

What's next after the Garmin Montana

The Montana is a pretty useful GPS. We just bought one a few weeks ago. Works great in the truck and on the bike.

    Expanding the Adventure Motorcycle Section

Great suggestions Marc. From our experience, it seems to be a chicken/egg situation. We added a Mitsubishi forum just a few years ago based on user feedback, and it now has 1,000 threads and nearly 15,000 posts. I am glad you like the "Getting Started" concept too. I think it will be an...

    Expanding the Adventure Motorcycle Section

DIG that C5 Joash. Such a sweet ride. I could easily see a vintage (and vintage styled) section in the future.

    Expanding the Adventure Motorcycle Section

This is a good suggestion, and we might change the "Rider Gear" to "General Rider Gear and Equipment" to cover all of the items not specific to a class of motorcycle.

    Expanding the Adventure Motorcycle Section

Great suggestion. Maybe we can try that in the "getting started" first, and see how the conversation goes. If we need to add a more regional, or ride-specific section, we can evaluate it after the initial category start-up.

    Expanding the Adventure Motorcycle Section

As the activity of the Expedition Motorcycle section has increased, we are looking for ways to help organize the threads and better support the discussion. Just like the 4wd sections expanded many years ago, we are looking to do the same in this forum. Instead of just making the change, we...

    1150GS upgrades

I remember the first GS I ever came across. It was a yellow one like that, parked in front of an REI in the early 2000s. The dry clutch and higher first gear seems to be the only real limitation for serious trail work with that platform. Looking forward to the updates

A few faces from The Wakhan Valley, Afghanistan

Will be curious of your impressions of Almaty. It was certainly a city in rapid change. The cheapest room we could find (without prostitutes "checking" you in) was $140 per night.

From Russia with Love: A Ural Gear-Up Project

The performance of the Ural is somewhat irrelevant. It is the smile it brings to your face, the sense of nostalgia, and of course, it is extremely stylish even sitting still! Image: Bruce Dorn
