E450 work van/box truck/crew cab/hybrid. Cool design I haven't seen before. Probably not too hard to add a pass through or side door?

Nice work on the details. The FJ6x vent on the rear aluminum "C" pillar is a nice touch. Does it have any function beyond looking cool?
Just looked at the pics on your site, great fab work. real clean with some nice ideas & details.
Some small updates in the past few months. Trimmed the bed down a little for some more room in the box when the bed is down. Added some diamond plate mat to the squad bench top, because it was missing the stock cushions, and because _diamond plate_!
**I'm listing this to give a heads up to anyone searching for one. Weather and my schedule hasn't given me the time to take some recent pics. I should have them up soon**

Well... I'm putting the lunch box up for sale and hoping someone will take it on the...
I like my old school west coast mirrors. Also there are holes in the doors for the supports so I'm just keeping them. I'd swap to those^ tow mirrors if I was trying to look modern or blacked out.
Hmm... maybe I'll join up over there. Let us know what you find with the Tahoe/Yukon style seats. Maybe the stuff on the bottom unbolts so you can bolt it to something else?
Thanks for the links. I've struggled through viewing some of those photobucket tahoe ones before. I can't see the last two links? Can you just save the image and upload? I'm not a SMB forum member.
Do you have any pics of your transit seat welding bracket/mounting? I've got some, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to mount them. Stock mounting brackets buried into a floor, or some kind of L-track system.
Van looks great.
This sounds interesting. I've been looking around for some kind of base that the Tahoe style rear fold down seats (with integrated seat belt) could bolt to. Ideally a steel tube frame, with a flat bottom and flange with some nice bolt holes.
I think this would open up a lot of options for...
Great work! Got any process pics? This thread goes from pre-build details to all finished. Thought it might've gone unfinished but great to see the final result.
Is that thing going to fall apart off road? I picked up a chinook and I'm surprised how flexy the fiberglass is. I've come to learn...
I think the best option is lengths of unistrut bolted directly along the length of the roof. Then you can add/adjust tie down points as needed. The roof is so strong and undentable that you don't really need crossbars, just points to secure stuff.
I was looking at box truck plumbing/lumber...
That looks real good. Strange how that cabinet was built over the diamond plate door step area?
Sorry to hear about the AC. There usually is a valve under the truck, drivers side, near where the cutaway cab would've ended, where you can isolate the front AC. Same for the coolant lines for the...
I say go for it. That is the first thing I plan to remove on mine. The HVAC in the box doesn't do much, mainly takes up space. Once it's gone there's so much more space to the box.
Check out Tmo2460's minimod that he's gutted for some ideas:
