Ha! That 215 amp hunk of iron is a beast. Took me awhile to figure out the sequence of moves to get it out of the ambo for a rebuild, and then the same struggle to get it back in. The added ambo wiring harness didn't make things any easier...
I've been eyeing that "newer" generation for years and waiting for 25 years to catch up with the ones from 1994 so they can come stateside. Let us know how the gas drives compared to a diesel, I've never been in either.
I think those slat bench/beds are popular if you don't already have a base/bench, and if you don't want to block windows. Access is through the cubby hole on front, which is nice as it also works while the bed is setup, but means stuff in there can fall out.

I'd look at what is/isn't possible in California for reasons why this isn't working/being done more.
Here in Oregon 1975 is our cutoff for emissions (cat converter date). I could see a future trend where people take a pre-1975 frame and build on that. Like 1975 truck frame with a modern body...
I bet that compartment is for storing your varmint rifle. What else are you going to do while sitting in your rocker on the porch.
Or it's for a badminton net...
Ugh! I just finally started using Tapatalk and now I find out it's got evil potential like Photobucket? We need to keep these forums full of useful information, and not dead links. The beautiful porch on this rig must be preserved for posterity!
Is there a better app? Web forum interfaces...
