I see that TruckHouse is going to unveil their interior this weekend at the CO Expo show. I think people will love what they see. Can't wait to see the official pictures.
Another difference at least on Ford F-350 is that the chassis cab has the gas tank in the rear, while the bed delete has the tank in the middle with space to mount a spare tire under the rear.
So, I joined the Winnebago Ekko Owners and Wannabe's group on Facebook. As near as I can tell there aren't many units out there except for the show/demo units. I asked the group and it seems like so far that's it. Another interesting tidbit is looking at the latest FitRV video, they are doing a...
We just talked to the factory today and they couldn't tell us when the regular production would begin. No way to see them yet except for the FitRV videos and the demo videos from the pre production vehicles. I know they have built a few of them, but the factory couldn't tell us where or when we...
After many calls to dealers to see where a person might see one of these Ekkos, we called the factory today. It seems they aren't even coming down the production line yet. The factory wouldn't offer any details about why, but my guess is that they may not even be able to get the Ford Transits to...
We bought a multi use squat rack/bench press for our 17 YO nephews and when they tried to help with the assembly, we found they had never used a wrench either. What a sheltered life. Just video games.
Still thinking I would rather have a smaller vehicle even if it compromises on comfort. If I could buy a new E350 van, I might even consider that again, ours has 165,000 miles on it. If I go with a regular cab TerraNova, it should have a similar turning radius to our E350 van. I will still miss...
Price increase on March 18th, 2021. Due to high order volume, we can begin production on orders placed today in November 2022. Feel free to contact us directly to find out more.
Seriously? Seems like a real business person would figure out how to produce enough product to not have an 18 month...
Interesting idea for those who really want a custom interior that meets their specific needs. Still would be lots of work to get to a usable rig. Maybe there is a business waiting for someone who wants to do interior conversions like all the new van conversion guys. Maybe even Sportsmobile or...
Yes, the EC TerraNova is on the 350/3500. Hard to know whether they could keep the weight low enough for a fixed side rig. I suspect they are near the 350/3500 limit already, but they haven't published the full specs yet.
I think the pop top version would be at least 2 feet shorter than a fixed roof version. Perhaps 8' 6" for the pop top and 10' 6" for a fixed roof. I don't think they have any current plans for a fixed roof version.
