Mostly because it was easier plugging in the Sprinter to the shorepower pedestal (no need to plug in the Jeep), plus we knew we weren't going anywhere until both vehicles left for home.

It cracks me up that Sprinters come in 22 colors, and in ten years, I've seen about five of them. I like the grey because it's not white, but it's perhaps too stealthy. I'm about ready to find some ex-hippie guy to airbrush a mermaid on the side, or something. ;)

I agree. It's fantastic to have the big hatch, but it is not a very sturdy thing. And because it can flex pretty easily, it's hard to keep everything sealed. If I had it to do over again, I might use the hatch on a rigid and dead flat surface like the roof of my old Mog cabin. I'd think long and...
